About Bosnia and Herzegovina

Bosnia and Herzegovina occupies a largely mountainous landscape shaped by the Dinaric Alps, with about half the country above 500 meters elevation. The country is divided into two entities, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska, plus the Brčko District. Sarajevo, the capital, sits at about 518 meters and is served by an international airport handling over one million passengers annually. The Adriatic coast is limited to a 20 km stretch around Neum.
